Mathew Higbee was quoted by the Utah news station KSL regarding new changes to Utah’s expungement law. The new law, HB21, has been said to be the most “forward thinking” expungement laws in the country.

There were two major changes in place. The first change focuses primarily on allowing a mandatory waiting period to begin immediately after the sentence has been completed; while the other one allows judges to treat multiple offences as one episode for the purpose of expungenemt.
