Overview:

Web and graphic design play an integral part in the law firm’s mission— so much so that the law firm has a full-time designer. The intern will work closely with the in-house designer to create or improve, both in form and function, a wide range of law firm resources. Feedback from other members of the IT team and law firm department heads will provide opportunities to learn about real-world objectives. Interns will directly be supervised by the in-house designer and Mathew Higbee.

Program may include:

The web and graphic design intern will assist in creating and improving websites, collateral materials, logos, stationery and other marketing materials used for the law firm. Interns will also have the chance to develop strategic new website designs and refine current website designs that are currently being used. By the end of this internship, the intern should leave with improved skills, before and after samples of their work, and an improved ability to demonstrate how design can benefit a business.

Qualifications:

We are seeking dedicated individuals who have an interest in gaining further experience utilizing graphic design skills for a business. Interns must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and show demonstrated familiarity with design elements and principles such as composition, color, and typography. A portfolio of design-related work is preferred. Photography experience, familiarity with using WordPress as a CMS, and basic HTML and CSS skills are pluses.
