Saba Basria is an Associate Attorney in the Copyright Division. Ms. Basria handles litigation for creative professionals, mainly photographers. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Basria was a law clerk to the Honorable Dale A. Drozd in the Eastern District of California.
Ms. Basria earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Basria specialized in international law and participated in the International Human Rights Clinic, International Justice Clinic, and the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Upon graduating, Ms. Basria was a Public Service Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of San Diego and Imperial Counties. Her work involved monitoring human rights abuses at the U.S.-Mexico border. Prior to law school, Ms. Basria attended UC Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. At UC Irvine, she was an active participant in Global Connect, a program that develops and teaches international relations curriculum to high school students.
